After you create an account, three optional questions ask how you heard of NMTS, what describes you and what you will keep — or you skip them.
The developer wanted to know who arrives and how, for interest and for statistics. The answers, any free text you type and the day are stored with nothing that points at your account, so the form asks you not to type anything personal. Skipping changes nothing, and the questions appear only once. The Privacy Policy lists this in version 2026-09-07-v17.
A comparison page sets NMTS beside an ordinary cloud storage, the FAQ says what NMTS stands for, and every page says the name's long form.
NMTS is short for NeedMoreTruthStorage, and search engines could not tell it from other things called NMTS. The home page, the FAQ, the structured data and the machine-readable summary now say the long form, who builds it and where it lives. The comparison page answers eight questions for a typical cloud service and for NMTS without naming any provider, and its last row is a limit of NMTS. The Korean sitemap entries now carry both languages.
