Dark mode is a cool grey-black instead of near-black, light mode is a soft grey instead of white, and the old colours live on as Deep dark. Settings › Display has all four choices.
The dark palette is the one from the home drafts of 12 September, the softer of the two candidates. System follows your device between light and dark only. The home and the site header follow the dark and deep choices; they have no light version yet.
Buttons, chips and segments are pills, cards and inputs are rounder, and the four wallet actions are 52px circles. Measured from the public screenshots of Phantom, Solflare and Backpack.
Corner radii are 12, 16, 20 and 24 pixels; the 6 and 8 steps are gone. Primary buttons are 48px tall, secondary 44, chips 32. File rows are 64px with a 36px icon circle. In dark and deep modes depth comes from surface layers, not shadows.
