Added2
After a wallet login, the wallet screen shows one row that pays for storage from that same wallet.
An account made with a wallet still has an NMTS key at its root, and storage was paid from the wallet that key makes — a different address with nothing in it, which is where the first payment sent you to add coins. The wallet's name and address are now kept on this device after a wallet login, and the row moves paying to that wallet in one press. The default does not change: the NMTS key wallet pays unless you press the row, because a browser extension wallet cannot auto-approve and sends parts one at a time.
Move coins from a connected browser extension wallet into your NMTS key wallet from the fill screen, in one press.
The fill screen showed the NMTS key wallet's address and nothing else, so it had to be copied into the wallet app by hand. The row opens the same send flow, with the extension wallet signing and your NMTS key wallet as the recipient it cannot change; the amount is typed the way it always was. A browser extension wallet cannot approve silently, so moving coins once and paying from the NMTS key wallet is fewer approvals than paying from the extension every time.
Changed2
Wallet login lists only the wallets that can sign a message.
A wallet without the personal-message feature stood in the list as a button that could not work, and pressing it produced the general failure line. Such a wallet is absent from the list instead.
The browser extension wallet page says what paying from it costs the recovery tool, and what to do on a phone.
Files paid from an extension wallet are not found by the recovery tool from your NMTS key, because that address does not come from the key; the page now says so where the choice is made. Its phone sentence also stopped at 「phone browsers have no extensions」 while wallet login told people to open the page in their wallet app's browser, so the two now say the same thing.
Fixed3
Fixed the paying wallet you choose coming undone on every reload.
The browser wallet reconnected by itself after a reload, but NMTS went back to the NMTS key wallet — so on a remembered device that wallet started paying again with nothing on screen saying so. The paying wallet you choose is now kept on this device, per account, and is written only when you pick one. Signing out removes it.
A connection or a signature you cancel in your wallet now says so instead of reporting a fault.
Closing the extension's own window on the connect button used to say nothing at all, and cancelling a wallet-login signature printed the general failure line. Both now name the cancellation, and an error NMTS cannot recognise keeps the general line rather than blaming you for a fault.
A wallet connected on another network says so before a payment asks it to sign.
