  • The longest storage period now says whose limit it is, and what to do next.

The last rung is not a length NMTS picked — it is as far ahead as the Walrus storage network takes payment. The screen said only a day count, so there was no way to tell one from the other, and nothing explained why the slider stops there. Push the period to its end and a line now says so, along with the way past it: extend the file while its time is running down. It appears only at that end, not throughout.

  • Fixed the home-page calculator offering one period less than the network sells.

Its ceiling was written into the page as 52 periods, and that number had never been measured — it came from a rounded “about two years” in our own notes. Read off the network on 16 August 2026: 53 periods of 14 days, so 742 days. The drive was never affected, because the upload and extend screens ask the network each time; the calculator is on a page that fetches nothing by design, which is exactly why its number could drift. The note beside it now states 53 periods and 742 days rather than “about two years”.
