A recovery kit whose file list could not be built no longer says the account had no files.

The recovery kit carries your account code and, since 2026-08-17, your whole recovery list. Building that list can fail — a dropped connection, a rate limit, a file whose parts do not add up — and every one of those produced a kit that said, in both languages, that the account had no files when the kit was made. It is the one document a person keeps for the worst day, and it stated the opposite of the truth. There is now a third sentence for that case — the list could not be built this time and that does not mean the account has no files — and the account code is in the kit either way.
