  • Sign in with a passkey or a security key instead of typing your NMTS key.

Add one on the device step after you sign in, or in Settings › More settings › Wallets and passkeys that can sign you in. Your NMTS key is kept on our server locked under a secret that only that passkey produces, after your fingerprint, face or PIN; the server stores nothing about the passkey itself. The same passkey confirms every screen that asks for your NMTS key again, and shows the key on a device that does not remember it. It opens the account only while NMTS keeps that locked copy, so keep your NMTS key written down; security keys cannot be used on iPhone and iPad.

  • Write your NMTS key down as 15 words, in English or Korean, and sign in with those words.

The words are the key itself, written with the standard BIP-39 word lists, so either form opens the same account. They are shown when you make your key, on the NMTS key page in settings and in the recovery file; the login field, the CLI and the recovery program accept them. Some wallet apps accept these words too, but what opens there is a different wallet, not your NMTS account.

  • Added Photos and videos, and Music, as places in your drive.

They gather files by type from every folder. Photo previews are made on this device and encrypted with your account key before they are saved; they are erased when you log out, and the server receives none of them. Choose the preview size in settings, from 128 to 2048 pixels. Videos have no player yet, and Music is a list of names for now.

  • Report a file without an account, from Report a file in the Contact menu.

Pick what is wrong, give the public code or link, and describe it in up to 2,000 characters; contact details are optional. The report is stored encrypted in our database, as a support message is, and deleted after 30 days. You cannot open it again after sending.

  • Sort your drive by label, and find files by label in search.

  • Deleting or extending a file tells you when the wallet connected now is not the one that paid for it.

  • The CLI 0.44.0 makes, lists and deletes AI accounts, shows the recovery phrase, and uploads a credit-paid file again, paid from your own wallet.

Changed10

  • Settings are split into Basic, More settings and Developer mode, and Log out is the first row.

Log out leaves at once, without a confirmation. The round account button at the top opens your public code, settings and Log out. Old settings addresses lead to the new places, and the Account row in the left menu is gone: what it opened is the first group of Settings.

  • Staying signed in lasts until you log out, unless you choose a length.

This length has no fixed end; a sign-in left unused for 30 days still ends. Until this version every sign-in ended 30 days after it began. The lengths from 1 hour to 30 days are still on the sign-in screen.

  • Automatic approval of storage payments starts switched on.

You still approve the first payment of each session yourself, and the payments after it are signed only within the total you approved. Turn it off in settings. Automatic approval of every payment stays off; it lasts 30 days and asks for your NMTS key.

  • Choosing Not now on the new terms no longer leaves a line in your drive; the terms screen comes back at your next sign-in or the next action that needs your acceptance.

  • The home page has a new first screen and menu, and a section on who holds the key in three kinds of cloud storage.

  • The Terms of Service 2026-09-23-v17 and the Privacy Policy 2026-09-23-v19 take effect.

  • Making an AI account no longer asks for your NMTS key; deleting one still does.

  • Verifying at nmts.me/verify keeps your API keys at the ordinary limits for twelve weeks instead of four.

  • Your file list is downloaded again only when it has changed.

  • Transaction fees are measured before you sign instead of assumed, and each network has a second server to read files from.

Fixed4

  • Fixed remembering this device after a wallet sign-in, which saved nothing that could sign you in.

The device step saved what was in the NMTS key field, and a wallet sign-in leaves that field empty, so the next visit asked for the key again. It saves the key that signed you in.

  • Fixed ten faults in credits, deposits and refunds.

Releasing storage early charges no more than the deposit shown, the deposit fee comes from the bundle that expires first, a credit transfer's daily limit counts your whole account family, and a refund that would pass the reissue limit is refused whole. An operator's release records the deposit as used, and the seven-day cleanup refunds only the payments it gave up itself.

  • Fixed fourteen faults in support replies, shares, the board, recovery lists and held uploads.

A paid upload that could not be added to your file list is kept on this device with its name encrypted, and put back when you reopen NMTS. The recovery file uses the copy shown on screen, the next recovery-list copy number never goes backwards, and Clear device data says so when the file list is left behind. A support reply and its answered mark are saved together.

  • Corrected sentences across the app that were false or called one thing by two names.

Security1

  • Your wallet is asked to sign a badge message only when this browser can build the same message itself.

The message came from the server and was signed as it arrived, so a server that was not ours could have put other words in front of your wallet. It could affect only someone whose connection to NMTS had been taken over, and we know of no such case.
