  • Added how long “Remember this device” lasts on Safari to the note you read before turning it on.

    That note said your account code is kept on this device so you do not have to type it again, with no condition attached. Safari — and every browser on iPhone and iPad — deletes script-written storage once seven days of browser use pass without a visit to the site, and the account code is kept in exactly that kind of storage. The note now says so, and says you sign in with your account code again when it happens. NMTS cannot stop the deletion: it is the browser's rule, which is why the account code has to live somewhere outside the browser too.
