  • A file you bring back from the trash now counts as one your recovery list does not cover.

    Your recovery list is taken from the files that are live at that moment, so a file sitting in the trash is correctly left out of it. Bring that file back later and it is live again — stored, paid for, and in no recovery list. The count on the account screen asked only how many files were uploaded since the list was taken, and an upload date does not move when a file comes back, so the answer was zero and the standing reminder stayed away. The count now also asks whether a file returned from the trash after the list was taken; a rename or a move still does not count, because names and folders live in the encrypted file list rather than the recovery list.
